Custom robot payload integration

A robot payload is everything mounted on top of (or under) the platform: LiDAR, gimbal cameras, thermal, gas sensors, RTK, the compute box, 5G or mesh radios — plus the structure, power and wiring that make it work in the field.

What we do

• Mechanical: back shells, bases, risers and brackets designed on the OEM model, clear of leg motion and the native cameras and LiDAR.
• Electrical: power from the robot or an external battery, isolated DC-DC, harnesses routed inside the shell.
• Selection: sensor and compute sets matched to payload, runtime, field of view and IP rating, with live weight, power and compute totals in our configurator.
• Software: drivers, time sync, calibration, ROS 2 mapping and navigation, object recognition, and integration with your ground station or business platform.
• Delivery: prefab kits for mainstream platforms skip design review and prototyping — select, assemble, integrate, ship.

What is a robot payload?

The sensors, compute, comms and supporting structure and wiring added to a robot platform — for example the LiDAR, gimbal and compute box on a robot dog.

Can I buy only the payload?

Yes. If you already own the robot, we deliver the payload structure, electrics, sensor selection and software; we can also deliver the complete system.

Does a payload affect motion and runtime?

Yes, so total weight and center of mass are budgeted against the OEM payload rating. Our configurator shows weight and power totals, and we re-check them for your use case during design review.
